wata games

WATA Games, a video game grading and certification service, realized that their educational articles were only speaking to their most expert game collectors alienating everyday gamers who may be interested in discovering the joys of game collecting.

Partnering with their subject expert, I worked on about 20 articles that created a more well-rounded knowledge center on WATA’s website — teaching readers the process of submitting a game for grading, highlighting specific types of games to collect, updating collectors on certification changes, entertaining readers with snapshots of video game history, and creating a community through a shared love of gaming.

In writing about such a detail-oriented hobby, I tried to strike a balance between language that informs, while still being understandable to audiences of all knowledge levels.
